Processing Time and Shipping

Items are processed within 24 hours and shipped within 24 hours unless it’s a holiday, an act of God event, or a Sunday—in which case, it will be shipped the next business day.

Estimated delivery time for all purchases is 6 days unless it’s a local delivery (24 hours) or express delivery, which must be arranged and paid directly to the carrier.

SouthShop.us handcrafts self-care tools in small batches using high-quality ingredients. All products are made in small batches, so each may vary slightly. Candles and Wax Melts contain no chemical stabilizers or UV inhibitors—slight sweating, frosting, or color fading may occur and do not affect performance.

Soaps may have slight white frosting, a natural reaction of ingredients to air or extreme temperatures. Natural colors may fade over time. These are purely aesthetic changes and do not affect product performance.

The above-mentioned variations do not qualify for a return.

Return Policy

10-Day Return Window – counted from the date of delivery.

Returns are accepted for unopened and unused items only. Please contact me at Daniela@southshop.us if there is an issue with your order so I can make it right.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, your package is lost, or your items arrive damaged, email me as soon as possible with the following:

  • Order number

  • Was this a gift or a purchase?

  • Date of purchase (no returns after 10 days)

  • Phone number

  • Description of what happened

  • Photos of the item and the code at the bottom of the box

All questions must be answered for a return to be processed.

Return Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on SouthShop.us’s part. Please ensure you use a traceable shipping service for your return.

Return Authorization

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in original packaging. You must have a receipt or proof of purchase.

All returns must be postmarked within 5 days of receiving your return authorization code. Items sent back without first obtaining an authorization code will not be accepted.

Once your return is accepted, please include the authorization code in the package and ship it securely in its original packaging.

Refunds

Refunds are for the product price only—shipping costs paid to get the goods to you are non-refundable. You’ll be notified once your return is received and inspected, and you’ll be informed if your refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. if you obtain free shipping, your refund will be -$4.00 to cover carrier fees. 

Express shipping service fees are non-refundable.

Exchanges

SouthShop.us is unable to process exchanges at this time.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom products, including special orders and personalized items

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Paper stationery, including postcards and greeting cards

Legal

Any legal dispute arising out of or relating to purchases made through this site shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. All legal actions or proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Suffolk County, New York.
