What Makes It Special
Rose Clay Gives the bomb its beautiful pink color and creates a soft, clean feel on skin. Organic Coconut Milk Powder Adds creaminess to the water and leaves skin feeling moisturized after the soak. How long do these last? I recommend using your Bath Jewel within 1–2 months for the strongest scent and freshest experience. Essential oils naturally evaporate over time, so while the bomb still works later, the aromatherapy may be lighter. What’s the shelf life? Bath bombs typically stay fresh for up to 6 months if stored in a cool, dry place. After that, fizz and fragrance can fade, but they’re not harmful to use. My bath bomb arrived cracked. Can I still use it? Yes. Even if cracked, it’ll still fizz and function beautifully in water. It’s the same goodness, just a little more abstract. It turned to powder in shipping. Now what? I’ve got you. If your bath bomb arrived fully powdered, email daniela@southshop.us with your order number, a photo of the package, and a quick note. I’ll send a replacement right away. Do these contain artificial dyes or glitter? No. I don’t use synthetic dyes or plastic glitter — many of those are petroleum-derived, and I’m personally not comfortable using them on skin. SouthShop’s color comes from clays, plant powders, and ethically sourced mica. If you see shimmer, it’s BioGlitter — made from eucalyptus cellulose, fully biodegradable, and safe for both you and the planet. Will this stain my tub? I can’t speak for every bathtub out there, but I can tell you this: I’ve tested each formula myself, and any residue has washed off easily with standard cleaning products. I use a gentle emulsifier (Sucramulse) to help the oils blend into the water and reduce separation. That said, I always recommend giving your tub a quick clean after use — especially if you're using white porcelain or textured surfaces. Is it safe for sensitive skin?
