Bulgarian Lavender has a rich floral aroma that’s somewhat fruitier, mellower, and less camphoraceous than varieties like Lavender 40/42.

Steam-distilled from the flowers of Lavandula angustifolia, it gives you lavender with softness and freshness while still having a strong aroma.

How is Bulgarian Lavender different from Population Lavender?
Bulgarian Lavender has a more classic lavender character to my nose. Population Lavender smells more layered and nuanced. Neither is better—they’re two different expressions of lavender.

What does “Population Lavender” mean?
It’s lavender grown from seed, so there’s natural variation between individual plants in the field.

Is it a blend?
No. That's the interesting part. The layered aroma comes from one pure Population Lavender essential oil.

How is it different from your Bulgarian Lavender?
Different origin, different scent personality. Population Lavender smells more layered and nuanced to me. I carry both because lavender isn’t one smell.

Can I wear it like perfume?
Yes. Roll it onto pulse points for a subtle, close-to-the-skin scent.

Can I layer it with other roll-ons?
Absolutely. Vanilla, chamomile, and citrus are good places to start.
Is this straight essential oil?
No. The Palo Santo essential oil itself is 100% pure and steam-distilled. The finished roll-on is diluted to 2.5% in argan oil for topical application.

Can I use it as perfume?
Yes. Roll it onto your pulse points and wear it as a subtle personal scent.

Can I layer it with other scents?
